How do I make a Spa appointment?
You can call any time during business hours or stop by the spa yourself to schedule an appointment. If you are booking a package for Thurs thru Sun, we recommend scheduling your appointment a week or two in advance. Monday, Tuesday and
Wednesday appointments are more flexible. We may even be able to book you the same day. For a single service, call anytime to check our availability. A 25% deposit on a credit card will secure a reservation for services/ packages of 2 hours or more.
How early should I arrive for my spa service?
To enjoy the full value of your experience at Mosaic Salon and Day Spa, we recommend that you arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time. This allows you time to fill out any personal history forms, enjoy complimentary refreshments, or have a personal consultation prior to your service. Arriving late for your
appointment may unfortunately shorten your treatment time so the next guest is not delayed. Cost of services however, will not be reduced.
May I schedule a standing appointment?
The receptionists at the front desk would be happy to schedule a standing appointment with the therapist/ technician of your choice. Just tell us the day and time that is best for you and whether you’re requesting a weekly or monthly appointment,
and we will arrange it for you.
What should I wear to the spa?
Mosaic Salon and Day Spa provides robes and slippers as well as disposable bras and underwear. Our Spa therapists will never compromise your modesty and will only expose the portion of your body that is being treated at that time. Some treatments may require a bathing suit.
May I wear jewelry to the spa?
Lockers are provided for your personal belongings, but to ensure total relaxation, we recommend leaving jewelry and valuables at home as we can not be responsible for lost items.
What do I do if I need to cancel my appointment?
Because your appointment is reserved especially for you, we ask that you provide a 48 hour cancellation notice for spa and salon services. If notice is not received, you will be charged 25% of the service total. If using a gift certificate, the 25% cancellation fee will be deducted from the value of the gift certificate total. A 100% deposit is required for any service before 9 am. A 50% reservation charge will be taken for any services cancelled the same day.
Should I tell anyone about any physical, medical or allergy concerns?
Upon your arrival to our Spa, you will be asked to fill out a personal health history questionnaire so that the spa therapists may provide you with the best possible experience and assure your maximum safety and comfort. Inform our receptionist of high blood pressure, pregnancy, injuries, allergies (especially seafood allergies), or any other significant medical conditions before booking your treatments. Please inform us of any medications you may be taking, especially Retin-A, Accutane, or any photosensitizing medications. Upon check-in, all spa guests will be asked to complete a brief questionnaire designed with your well-being in mind.
May I request a male or female massage therapist?
When booking your appointment, let the receptionist know if you would prefer a male or female therapist. We would be happy to accommodate you. You may also request a therapist by name if you so desire. Our clients are always welcome to exchange technicians at any time.
Are gratuities included in the cost of service?
Gratuities are not included in the cost of our salon/spa services. However, our staff always appreciates knowing that they have done well and you are pleased.
May I bring my child to the spa?
In order to maintain a relaxing, calming environment, all children under the age of 14 are not permitted on the premises. However, children who are under the age of 14 may receive services if prior arrangements are made with the receptionist desk. A parent must be present in the room during all treatments.
May I use my cell phone or pager while in the spa?
Mosaic Spa is a sanctuary of peace and tranquility. Mobile phones and pagers are not permitted. For your convenience there is a phone available at the front desk. Our staff will gladly take messages while you enjoy your treatment undisturbed. We
encourage consideration for you and all of the other guests enjoying time for relaxation. Be mindful of other guests’ space.
Our lounge and spa room is a place where many guests savor a much-needed private moment to read, meditate, or simply to relax. As a courtesy to other guests, please maintain a quiet level of conversation and respect the personal space of others.
Can I buy a Gift Certificate from Mosaic Salon and Spa?
Gift Certificates are available for services, packages and dollar amounts. They are presented to you in a Mosaic Salon and Day Spa Gift Box. You may also purchase them over the phone and they will be mailed to you in a gift envelope. If you wish to pick up the Gift Certificate yourself, it will be held for a period of 30 days. If the Gift Certificate is not claimed within 30 days, it will be donated to various companies or charity fundraisers. Gift Certificates are non refundable and are good for one year. Mosaic Salon & Day Spa cannot be responsible for lost or stolen gift certificates.

- To request extra time between services if desired. We will be happy to accommodate you.
- Lunches are included in Full Day Packages only. If your service does not include lunch, you may request it for an additional $10.
- To bring a swimsuit when using the Spa Room.
- All forms of payment are accepted including cash, check and major credit cards.
- Smoking is prohibited within the salon and spa.
- Our clients are welcome to exchange technicians at any time.
- Upon arrival, please present your gift certificate before we begin services.
